Safety, Trust and Verification
CampusTask does not process or hold payments for peer tasks. Students settle task payments directly with each other via UPI or cash. Treat every deal like paying a classmate in person—and pay only after inspecting deliverables.
1. Student Verification & Campus Accountability
Every student account on CampusTask completes onboarding by providing their registered university/college, degree branch, and expected year of graduation.
Campus affiliation is permanently locked after onboarding to prevent cross-campus impersonation, spam rings, or outside bad actors from infiltrating private collegiate boards.
2. Direct Payment Guidelines
- • Agree upon exact project scope, deadline, and price in chat beforehand.
- • Inspect the code, notes, or deliverable before sending any payment.
- • Pay directly via UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm) or cash.
- • Keep all task discussions within CampusTask's direct chat.
- • Never send 100% advance payments to peers you have never worked with.
- • Never share personal financial passwords, OTPs, or UPI PINs.
- • Do not move communication outside CampusTask before agreeing to terms.
- • Do not engage in tasks that violate academic honor codes.
3. Reporting & Moderation
CampusTask maintains active moderation queues. A report button is permanently embedded on every task, chat, and student profile.
Reported accounts undergo administrative review. Verified misconduct, harassment, fraudulent claims, or repeated non-delivery results in permanent banishment of the student profile across the network.
4. Academic Integrity & Prohibited Behavior
CampusTask empowers students through legitimate peer support. We draw a rigorous boundary between positive collaboration and academic fraud:
Permitted vs Prohibited Activities
Allowed Peer Support:
- One-on-one conceptual tutoring
- Code review, bug explanation, and syntax guidance
- Formatting assistance (LaTeX, PowerPoint, thesis styling)
- Sharing handwritten lecture summaries
Strictly Prohibited:
- Proxy exam taking or live test assistance
- Submitting identical peer code for graded evaluation
- Identity fraud or student impersonation
- Distributing unauthorized faculty answer keys
5. Student Privacy & Communication
Your phone number, personal email address, and date of birth are confidential and are never made visible to peers on the platform. Other students only see your display name, college affiliation, major, and task reputation metrics.
6. Frequently Asked Questions
Does CampusTask hold student funds or charge payment fees?
No. CampusTask never holds student money and charges 0% commission. Payment is direct between students via UPI or cash after you inspect and verify the completed work.
Can CampusTask issue refunds if work is unsatisfactory?
Because CampusTask never takes custody of funds, we cannot issue financial refunds. To protect yourself, only pay after you have received and inspected the work. If a peer attempts fraud, report their profile immediately for investigation and suspension.
How do I report harassment or academic misconduct?
Use the report button present on every task listing, chat window, or user profile. Reports are forwarded directly to campus moderation for review.
What academic services are prohibited?
Live exam cheating, proxy test taking, and impersonation during graded collegiate assessments are strictly forbidden. Permitted activities include concept tutoring, debugging, proofreading, and study material exchanges.
