About CampusTask
The Mission
CampusTask is an India-focused same-college peer-to-peer marketplace where verified college students can post academic and campus-related tasks, find help from students in their own college, and offer their skills to peers.
From Fragmented WhatsApp Groups to Structured Campus Networks
On college campuses across India, student collaboration traditionally occurs across unorganized WhatsApp groups, unofficial Telegram channels, and chaotic hostel message boards. Requests for semester notes, lab assignment explanations, or code debugging frequently get buried or ignored.
CampusTask was created to replace this chaos with a structured, verified campus marketplace. Instead of broadcasting into the void, students post discrete tasks with clear deadlines and budgets, allowing qualified peers on their specific campus to submit structured bids.
Founder & Leadership
Atul Verma
Founder, CampusTask
Atul Verma is the founder and principal engineer behind CampusTask. Recognizing the absence of secure, institution-specific platforms for Indian university students, he architected CampusTask to emphasize same-college verification, zero platform fees, and direct peer-to-peer settlements.
Core Architecture & Principles
Only verified students from your campus can view and bid on tasks. No anonymous global spam or irrelevant bids.
CampusTask charges 0% commission on peer project work. Students keep 100% of the money they earn.
Payment occurs directly between students via UPI or cash after deliverables are inspected and approved.
Geographic Scope, Contact & Press
CampusTask is tailored specifically for universities and degree colleges across India, with initial hubs in institutions like Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU Rohtak), IIM Rohtak, Kurukshetra University (KUK), and NIT Kurukshetra.
